Delivery Policy

Effective 18 June 2026 · Lofft (Pty) Ltd · Reg. 2026/361759/07

What We Deliver

Lofft is a marketplace connecting clients with independent, CAA-verified drone pilots in South Africa. We do not perform drone services directly — we facilitate the connection, payment, and quality assurance between clients and pilots.

When a client posts a job and a pilot is accepted, the pilot is responsible for performing the drone service as described in the job brief, including delivering any agreed-upon outputs (photos, video, data, reports).

Service Fulfilment Timeline

The drone service is performed on the date agreed in the job brief. Deliverables (photos, video, data) are provided by the pilot as specified in the job description.

Once the pilot marks the job as done, the client has a 5-day review period to confirm they are satisfied with the deliverables. If the client does not act within 5 days, payment is automatically released to the pilot.

Secure Payment Holding

When a client accepts a pilot and pays for a job, the funds are held securely by Lofft until the job is complete. Funds are not released to the pilot until:

  • The client releases payment after reviewing the deliverables, or
  • The 5-day auto-release period expires without client action

This protects both parties: clients only pay when they are satisfied, and pilots are guaranteed payment for completed work.

Pilot Payouts

Once payment is released, pilot payouts are processed within 2–5 business days via EFT to the pilot's registered bank account.

Pilots receive 100% of their quoted rate. Lofft's 20% service fee is charged separately to the client.

Non-Delivery & Issues

If a pilot fails to show up or does not deliver as agreed, the client may:

Lofft will mediate all disputes and may award partial or full refunds. Repeated non-delivery by a pilot results in account suspension.
